Check-in & check-out

What time is check-in /check-out ?

Check-out is 10:00. Rooms for new arrivals are generally available after 12:00; if you arrive before your room is ready, you may check in at the front desk and leave your luggage at reception. Please make sure to inform us of any changes of your arrival time!

What do I need to check in?

National photo ID, such as passport, driver's licence, ID card, national military service card, etc.

Is there a lockout or curfew?

No, our reception is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so there are no curfews. There is no lock-out during the day, but we do ask that you help our cleaners by staying out of their way as much as possible during the hours of 10:00-13:00.

Rooms

Do you have rooms with private bathrooms?

Almost all our rooms are with shared bathroom. Those, which have en-suite bathroom are mentioned as rooms with private bathroom, so you always get exactly what you’ve booked.

What is the difference between Twin and Double rooms?

Both Twin and Double rooms are private rooms for MAXIMUM two (2) people. A Double room has one matrimonial bed and a Twin room has 2 single beds.

Are sheets and blankets provided?

Yes, bed linens and towels are included in the price.

 Do you have non smoking rooms?

All our rooms (as well as all common indoor areas) are non-smoking.

Is there any area where I can smoke in the hotel?

You may not smoke in any indoor area. The only area where you may smoke is our open-air courtyard. 

Is there an elevator?

There are no elevators available in the hostels. In case ascending a staircase is a problem for you or your fellow traveler, please contact us at info@pensionaduar.com or call us at (+34) 952 77 35 78 before making a reservation to make sure we have vacant room on the first floor.

Costs & prices

Are there any extra taxes I should know about?

There are no extra taxes; the VAT is included in price.

What is the cost of one night?

Prices vary according to the type of accommodation desired and the season. You can find the price list by clicking here or going directly to our ROOMS&RATES section.

Is the price per room or per person?

The price is always per room.

Is breakfast included?

No, the breakfast is not included in the price. If you wish, you can order breakfast on the reception upon arrival.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We take cash and credit cards (VISA, Master Card). We don't accept traveller’s cheques and debit cards.

Availability

Do you have availability for...?

You can check availability online by choosing the dates you need on the main page or clicking on the On-line booking link in the main menu. For groups of 8 or more, please email us directly at info@pensionaduar.com

Why can’t I check availability for double or triple rooms online?

It might be because there is currently no availability. However you can email your request for double and triple rooms, and our staff will reply as soon as possible. Also please note that for summer period for On-line booking made more than 1 month ahead we have minimum stay of 3 nights.

Do you have minimum stay?

Yes, we have minimum stay of 3 (three) nights in June, July and August but only for rooms with private bathroom.

Do I need to book ahead of time or can I just show up?

We recommend reserving ahead of time whenever possible. If you have no reservation you still may contact us the same day to check if we have any vacant rooms.

Do you accept groups?

Groups of up to seven (7) people can reserve directly online. On the main page click On-line booking link and follow the instructions. For larger groups, please email us directly at info@pensionaduar.com. Our staff will reply as soon as possible.

On-line booking

How can book a room?

Please click On-line booking link in the main menu and follow the instructions. A valid credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. You will be invited to enter your credit card details on a secure server. An invalid credit card will cancel your reservation.

Is it safe to book online?

To put it short: yes.

Is my credit card charged ahead of time when I make a reservation?

Your credit card will be debited for the total cost of your reservation to secure your booking but not earlier then one week prior to arrival.

I haven’t received a confirmation.

Your email provider may be using spam filters. Please check your spam folders. If you still have not received your confirmation or if your email provider deletes possible spam, please email us. Please consult the contact page.

Can you please send me a confirmation for my visa application?

Under no conditions are we allowed to SEND FAX OR LETTERS for Visa document applications to Spain embassies or consulates.

I need to cancel or amend my reservation.

Should you wish to amend or cancel your reservation, please visit http://www.key-res.com/resamend.php?hid=AGP8383 or contact our On-line booking staff by e-mail at info@pensionaduar.com or by calling (+34) 952 77 35 78. Please quote the reservation number, e-mail address, guest name and dates of stay in all correspondence.

What is your cancellation policy?

Where do my personal details go?

Nowhere, which basically says we don`t sell your information to spammers or outside market research companies.

Do you do airport pick ups/ drop offs ?

We do not provide airport pick ups or drop offs. Public transportation to and from the airports is very cheap and very efficient. Please see HOW TO FIND US page for further details.

Which is the nearest Airport?

The nearest airport to Marbella is Malaga which is only 70km and a 1 hour drive away. Detailed directions you can find in the HOW TO FIND US section. 

How far is the beach?

The beach is only 1 km away, which is just ten minutes of walking.
